Fredrik works in a project at the Customs Agency where he works mostly with the backend - both development and architecture. There they develop a microservice architecture where the applications are written in Kotlin and Spring with Postgres databases at the bottom which are used as document databases. Kafka is also used for both communication between the microservices, but also to make data available to consumers. I started as a mobile developer, but quickly found out that it was the backend that I wanted to focus on. In the company, we have a good mix of a lot of knowledge, different backgrounds and different roles.
